Greetings. I'm Robbie Dinglasan – A creative designer, art director and photographer.

I was at Google for 5 years as part of the Premium Creative Services team. We helped sales teams with creative builds and videos for Google formats and helped drive new formats, such as the YouTube Bumper and Gmail Ads. Prior to Google, I was at Electronic Arts as part of the Origin UX team. I have also worked in marketing, design and ad agencies as a designer and art director. Check out my Linkedin for more details and see some of my work below.

GOOGLE – creative developer and Technical consultant

From July 2013 to October 2018, I worked on creative teams at Google to maximize the sales push for Google Ads formats to advertisers.

During my time there, I worked on formats ranging from Gmail ads, display banners, lightbox campaigns and YouTube formats, especially mastheads and video advertising. We worked closely with product teams to get ahead of the constantly changing ad environment of Google Ads.

designer – Electronic Arts , Origin UX Team

As a designer on the Origin UX team, I created weekly promotional creative assets for EA.com and Origin.com.

I worked with the Origin UX team to create standardized templates for creative use on all game titles. Eventually, I managed the weekly approvals of all promotional assets and updates. I worked with third party teams to create assets for Digital Asset Management (DAM). For game launches, I made sure the assets, such as keyart and boxart, were ready for launch.

Freelance Designer/Art Director – JWT San Francisco, TMP Worldwide, Griffixthunkit

Worked as a freelancer for a few years, jumping from design, marketing and ad agencies.

During this time, I worked a lot with local businesses, especially clubs, bars and restaurants. Griffixthunkit was a small startup that I worked with after college. They sponsored the ICERAIR event and I was the lead on branding from 2006-2008. Then worked at JWT and TMP Worldwide for more traditional advertising work.

Photography - Kuyarobs

Photography is one of my passions. Capturing moments that can resonate every an emotion and bring you back to a place and time.

The art of framing a photograph or moving with your subject matter can be used in other forms of creative. I use similar techniques in working with advertisers on YouTube, sharing these with teams during training or creating videos with my boys.

ABOUT ME

Thanks for stopping by. I'm always open to new opportunities, to work collaboratively with creative teams and I love learning something new.

I spent a few years as a freelance designer and art director. I worked at design and ad agencies, such as JWT, TMP Worldwide, Brandvoice, but started out at a small shop called Griffixthunkit. In 2006, I was the lead designer of the ICERAIR event that brought ski jumps to the streets of San Francisco and to AT&T Park.

For a few years, I taught advanced concepts and art direction at the Academy of Art University, which is where I got my Masters in Advertising Design. I ended up jumping back and forth from San Francisco back to my home area of New York/New Jersey before finding myself married and back in the Bay Area working at companies such as Apple, Electronic Arts and Google.

I am a gamer, a YouTuber, an amateur barbecue enthusiast and a dad to two rambunctious boys.

What's next for me? Taking a shot as a stand-up comedian. We'll see how that goes.
